Standardised Packages To Make Life Easy!
The following 3 website hosting packages cover the needs of most clients.
Having your hosting managed locally means you’re working with someone who knows the area, the market, and the challenges that come with running a business here. If something goes wrong, you can speak to me directly instead of waiting in a queue for an offshore call centre. Local knowledge also means I can optimise your hosting with search engines and audiences in this area in mind.
With standard hosting, you’re given a space on a server and left to figure out the rest. Fully managed hosting means I take care of everything technical – server security, backups, updates, and performance tweaks – so you don’t have to. If there’s a problem, I fix it. If something needs updating, I do it. You get peace of mind and more time to run your business.
Security is a priority. All packages come with advanced firewall protection, malware scanning, SSL certificates, and regular updates. I also take daily backups, so even in the rare event of a problem, we can get your site back up quickly. Because I manage your hosting personally, I keep an eye on things and act before issues become serious.
Yes. My servers are UK-based, optimised for speed, and paired with a content delivery network (CDN) to make sure your site loads quickly no matter where your visitors are. A fast site is not only better for your customers but can also improve your Google rankings.
Yes. Depending on your package, you can have between 15 and unlimited email addresses linked to your domain name. All email services are fully managed and include spam protection. I can also help you set them up on your devices so everything just works.
Because I personally monitor all the sites I host, I usually know about downtime before you do. If something goes wrong, I work on it immediately and keep you updated. My goal is to keep downtime to an absolute minimum and fix problems fast.
Yes. I handle the migration for you, making sure everything transfers smoothly without breaking your site or losing data. Most moves are done within 24–48 hours and I test everything before it goes live. Please note; this process is sometimes hindered due to restrictions with the old host. Some older hosts won’t give access to the hosting admin area. Some designer hosts claim rights over the website itself. Sometimes website owners simply cannot get hold of their old website hosts. If you are in a situation like this please contact us first so we can look into your individual circumstances.
It can. Search engines often take server location into account when ranking websites for local searches. If your target customers are in the UK, having your site on UK servers is a plus. Add to that my local knowledge of Blackpool and the Fylde Coast, and you’ve got hosting that’s tailored to your audience.
Daily. I keep regular backups so if you ever need to roll back to a previous version, we can do it quickly. This protects you from accidental changes, hacking attempts, or technical faults.
Support covers everything to do with your hosting and the server side of your website. If your site is running slowly, your email has stopped working (only applies to hosting based email), or you’re seeing strange errors, I’ll get it sorted. I’m also happy to answer general website questions and give you advice when you need it.
If you would like more information before choosing a hosting package please reach out and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
