We’ve just wrapped up the launch of a new website for VIP Very Important Pets – and while the project might have been a straightforward brochure site on the surface, there was a bit more going on behind the scenes.
The client came to us with a problem we see all too often: limited access to their old website, slow turnaround on even the smallest amendments, and no clear path forward. They knew their site needed modernising, but they also had another big concern – Google rankings. So, with a combination of our web design services and SEO know how – we got to work.
VIP already had strong search positions, so ripping everything up and starting again without care wasn’t an option. We needed to give the business a modern, mobile-friendly website that was easy to update while protecting all of that hard-earned SEO value.
On top of that, email was a non-negotiable – any disturbance there would have been a nightmare.

We put together a migration strategy that would:

Due to limited access to the old hosting setup, we hit a couple of minor complications. But this is where experience matters. We navigated through them quickly, ensuring there was no email downtime and no disruption for customers.
The result? The new VIP Very Important Pets website is now live, modern, and mobile-ready, giving the business a polished online presence that still works hard in Google. More importantly, the client now has full control and can make changes whenever they need. No more waiting weeks for simple edits.

The new site keeps the friendly, approachable personality of VIP while presenting their services clearly. From dog boarding and grooming to long-term kennels – all wrapped in a clean, easy-to-navigate layout.
